Im a huge fan of the 4v mod motors with the crown vic front end for the f100, the motor just looks like a beast under the hood and its a drop in swap with that vic front end, look for a lincoln mark 8 motor in a yard and go from there. pushrod 5.0 don't fill those motor bays up at all.

Don't forget to look for the newer f150's in the wrecking yard for 5.0 donor components.

Cant beat an old 5.0 as far as budget builds go. Mods are cheap as dirt and it's easy to make good power with em.

I looked into f-150 coyotes even went as far as picking up a flywheel and stock mustang headers but couldnt find any less than 4k so fo 2 grand more I'll go with the 2 year warranty and the 412 hp of the crate. Did all kinds of research on difference between the two.

If that engine is coming with the mustang intake it probably makes more than 412. I have seen 3 hit the dyno so far and only one has come in under 400WHP after a tune.

Thanks for the info, Getting ready to buy today or tomorrow. M-6007-M50 just wish I could find it for less than $5900. I tried to find a summit racing discount coupon even went to right coast nationals just for that reason no luck.
