Hey I know this is and old thread and nobody gave you an answer back them I wonder if you end it up doing this swap? I have a 94 and I want to do the same as you were thinking to do. Please let me know which way you went. Thanks, Ivan

Usually, unless you have the whole V8 car and the motor has some mods to it, it's cheaper and easier to modifiy the V6 to get the power you want.

If you have a 94, find a 5.0 from a 94-95, the fox 5.0 won't clear the hood.

Really? I just bought a 98 gt body and have a 5.0 from a fox I have to swap. How much more clearance does it need and how did you find this out?

Hood clearance would come down to if its efi or carb'd. I think the efi's will fit under sn95 hoods

you need an angle elbow on the intake or a raised hood..for the 94-95
