i bought a 94 mark viii engine and transmission with the computer and engine harness to replace the 97 gt engine that locked up, everything i have read is about total swaps but i dont need that all i want to do is swap the engines. Now my gt is a 5 speed and the mark came with an auto i know so using my gt tans what will i need off the old engine? clutch, fly wheel and what else?, also will the motor mounts i have in now work? the mark engine doesnt have an intake manifold on it. will a cobra one bolt up? what will i need to do harness wise? is there anything else thats not plug and play or not good enough for the mark motor like raditor or what not? i have seen alot of posts about it but they dont give me the answers i need, so any help would be appreciated

Read my guide, it's in my sig. Basically the clutch and flywheel from the GT, be sure to get a new pilot and throwout bearing. Swap the motor mounts off from the GT engine to the Mark VIII engine. Cobra manifold will bolt up fine. Harness requires minor modifications, read the guide for more info. I ran the GT radiator in the Texas heat and while it got pretty warm, it never overheated.
