F150 coyote into an 85 notch
Whats up guys. I have a project that I will be starting on and I want to go ahead and start figuring out what to do. I have ran across the deal of a lifetime that I can't pass up. I found a 2011 F150 5.0 with 54 miles on it for a smoking deal. Anyway Im not passin this opportunity up to put it in my 85 mustang. Im getting the engine, harness, transmission. No computer. The issues that I am thinking about are:
1. I think these are returnless style fuel systems. How do I get past that.
2. How do I get past the Chip in the key that is in the factory truck. I dont have the key or the ignition switch. Can the factory ECM be programmed to bypass this.
3. I have thought of the FRPP control pack for the coyote but it is made for a manual. Not the automatic. I would consider trading the auto for a good 6 speed man set up.
Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. I do not know what all will be involved yet but I do know that this project needs to be done. I think this combo a light car like my coupe will be a good performing car that I can drive anywhere in the country. Thanks for the help.

1. Run retunless fuel setup or get aftermarket fuel rails and run a retun style.
2. The PATS security systyem is seperate from the engine you do not need it.
3. Get a coyote mustang ECU for an automatic.
