Default v6 motor swap

I got a 1967 mustang which had a 289 in it and I came across a 1995 mustang that has a v6 in it wanting to put it in the 1967 will it work

It will take a LOT of work. Other than getting it mounted right, you'll need the car's wiring harness and computer to run the new style motor.

I'm just curious why in gods name would u wanna run a 3.8 and all the emissions stuff along with wirring and obd1 stuff into a classic mustang? The headache and other stuff just flat out isn't worth it.
