My 85 mustang lx which had a 2.3L automatic c3 transmission had an engine swap 6 years ago with a 2.0l ranger engine then sat and I just got it running again but the engine is about to go and was wondering what other 4cyl engines I could pit in it without having to change trnny or much of other things, I know a 2.3L turbo coupe motor would fit but there not easy to find near me that don't need a ton of work

it has a c4 transmission, which will work with a 5.0 v8 and is an easy swap.
