watch the video, stock it was 810 hp and 1560 lb-ft ........then.........they added twin turbos!!!

Am pretty sure the original engine came with twin turbos. here's a video of one being "ground hopped" straight out of an M47. Note the intakes and turbos on the side, as well as the distinctive whine.

yeah its a beast either way, stock its 810 hp, Leno's modded version puts out 1600hp.... thats just ridiculously sick...

If you want to see a really wild production motor check out Napier's deltic diesels.

Napier also had a hybrid piston/turbine engine which actually saw service in the Royal Navy's anti-submarine aircraft.

They really pushed the envelope as far as reciprocating engines are concerned.
