Are you building the motor yourself?

I know someone on another forums tried this swap out and everything worked out except for his gauges. Have you figured out a work around? That was a big thing that was holding me back.

Buy a pillar kit and wire it in, the only gauges you need is RPM and speed everything else is worthless.

The gauges are not a problem at all . Manuel over on s197forum did the swap into a 07 GT , the Ford racing control pack harness comes with an epas connector (AIM connector with 4 wires) that you wire into the wires at your OBD port that links the harness with your can network and you have gauges that work. He did it . Even the colors are the same on your factory harness.

This is the pinout diagram for the Ford Racing control pack harness ,The connector that says In-line to EPas (aim for race car) if you check your OBDII port it has those colors , splice them in and itll comunicate with your CAN network. The V6 tach is the same as the GT and will work for the Coyote. I'll let u know when I get to the wiring if it works for me.

Saving that picture for future reference! Thanks Phansm! Now I have to start saving. Think i'm going to go and buy a block and just build from there.

Good luck with the build!

How I got my Coyote , my buddy at ford called me and asked if I was interested In a' new 5.0. So I asked the details. A new 5.0 with 3000 miles on it came in with a slight rattle noise at 3500 rpm. The tech pulled the oilpan and discovered the number 7 rod bearing had a score mark in it , no other damage just number 7. They put a new motor on it. So I bought the motor for the core charge for $1000. I picked up a set of new boss 302R piston and rod kit and a boss 302 crank so now when it goes back together I'll have a completely forged internals , as it sits I have about $3500 n the motor with all accessories, intake etc.
