Coyote 5.0 swap into 2005 V6

How I got my Coyote , my buddy at ford called me and asked if I was interested In a' new 5.0. So I asked the details. A new 5.0 with 3000 miles on it came in with a slight rattle noise at 3500 rpm. The tech pulled the oilpan and discovered the number 7 rod bearing had a score mark in it , no other damage just number 7. They put a new motor on it. So I bought the motor for the core charge for $1000. I picked up a set of new boss 302R piston and rod kit and a boss 302 crank so now when it goes back together I'll have a completely forged internals , as it sits I have about $3500 n the motor with all accessories, intake etc.
Seriously though, find me a deal like that.
Any reason why you opted for a Mustang and not the Cobra?

I just lost interest in the cobra really. I had a silver one before with a stroker motor in it but its purely a nice weather 2 seater and with 2 kids I hardly would ever use it. Mustang made more sense for us all to enjoy. I sold it to my dad so ill probably get to enjoy it when he gets it done anyways.

I got my Flaming River manual rack with correct u joint for the 05 in and also my stainless steel headers as well as my manual pedal set. Waiting on my new 05 up TR3650 , shifter and Ford Racing control pack kit.

So what do you have planned for flywheel, does yours have that 9 bolt pressure plate? When I talked to FRPP tech I was hoping I could just swap out the clutch disc on my swap. I have a t-45 trans he said it would have a different stack, I asked if it would work with the newer trans and he said yes, but I would check again for sure. The 11 up has a different spline count on trans.

That's my new plan but I was going ford racing billet flywheel and their hd clutch. The 04s are cable clutch are you swapping over? Sorry didn't look real close at you new pedals?
So stock nodular flywheel?

Im using an aftermarket good for 500hp clutch , press plate flywheel combo , lightened flywheel too. Im using the tr3650 tranny from the 05 up with the hydraulic slave / setup with the factory 05 up pedals/master cyl . I know travel and throw may be different so Im going to have to do some measuring and testing before I put it in the car to make sure the hydraulic setup will work. They do make an aftermarket kit to install a similar hydraulic setup in a T5 so I know it can be done.

Well after doing some head scratching . I figured out that wiring the coyote pcm into the can network will make the tach work but there is no OSS VSS speed input into the coyote pcm to make the speedo work. I called FRPP and spoke to a tech and apparently FRPP make a SPEED DIAL unit for the coyote PCM Control pack that inputs your speed signal into the Ford racing control pack PCM.
