New mustang owner here. needing help with a build.
hey, im happy to find a forum deticated to these cars! Names dakota.
Anyways im not sure im in the right spot to post this.
But i have a 1993 Mustang XL Hatchback with a 302 V8 dropped in it with a edlebrock 4 barrel, aftermarket intake, MSD Coil and mallory distributor.
Got a few questions i need help with answering if you guys don't mind.
The engine is slanted towards the drivers side, is that normal? or is it an issue? if so how do i resolve it?
And a wiring questions, My water temp and oil pressure guages don't work. water temp gauge is at 0 and oil guage is at the top.
due to the engine swap the 302 has no fan on it. this car has an electric fan that is wired to a switch, anyway i can make it turn on with the key? i was told the fan wasn't suppost to be on all the time. but i need some input.
And one last thing regarding the transmission. i don't know what tranny is in this car, but it's a 5 speed with a short bent shifter. and it's hard to shift into reverse

I Got my temp guage to work, the guy who owned it before me tryed to build a racecar out of it and has a ton of wires running from every direction. he had aftermarket temp guages (that also didn't work) but a wire got shorted out today when i was piddling around and my temp guage on my cluster started working ( The aftermarket ones shut off) but the oil pressure guage still nothing. and my tack doesnt work still. how does the tack even work?
