Default 5.0 coyote swap into 2006 GT , Saleen , police clone?

Ok since I sold my 2005 V6 for a small profit before I started the swap , I found a cool 2006 GT that was right up my alley , no motor or trans. I got a smoking deal on it and it came with a brand new unpainted Saleen complete body kit. The car is yellow now but I will be painting it Tuxedo Black (fords black with metal flake) and fitting a set of 20 inch Saleen black wheels. Ill be swapping in the new 5.0 with brand new tr3650. I snagged seats out of a 2012 black leather with white stitching. Pics as I go

Motor ready to drop in

Since you are starting with a roller, everything should be about the same as if you were doing it for a V6 correct?

Or are you hoping you won't run into as many problems?

It should be about the same as far as fitment, however now I have the GT bits already there instead of having to get those , rear end , brakes etc. It also has the premium dash , 6 disc radio , 4.10 gears , a lot of extra plusses. I got the car with the full Saleen kit ($2000 shipped from Saleen) for $4400 , 06 with 60k miles.

Are you going to have the same problems with the gauges, speedometer, ect. like you would have with the V6? Or would is there less of a hassle with that?

It's definitely going to be an awesome project! Can't wait to see how it turns out!

The gauges will be the same , the V6 and GT have the same cluster , just have to wire into the cars can network. Im learning as I go , A guy over on s197forum has done this swap on a 07 gt and it looks factory .... Im picking his brain as much as I can before he tells me to leave him alone
