2005 v6 soon to be swapped
Hey man pretty much read this whole damn thing. I've been planning on doing a built 3v swap to my 4.0 for some time now (stroker kit, hot rod cams, forged internals, and more) but recently I've been debating just saving my pennies and getting a coyote motor. In total to do the whole swap do you think you could shoot me a number? I'd love to do the coyote swap, but if I can have a built 3v that makes more power and can Handel boost better for cheaper... Then I'd just stick with the 3v. Any help on this would be much appreciated!!

I have a 2006 GT. I want to do a coyote swap
Ok since I sold my 2005 V6 for a small profit before I started the swap , I found a cool 2006 GT that was right up my alley , no motor or trans. I got a smoking deal on it and it came with a brand new unpainted Saleen complete body kit. The car is yellow now but I will be painting it Tuxedo Black (fords black with metal flake) and fitting a set of 20 inch Saleen black wheels. Ill be swapping in the new 5.0 with brand new tr3650. I snagged seats out of a 2012 black leather with white stitching. Pics as I go
Motor ready to drop in

One thing I did notice was that their is a P.S. relocation bracket out their from ford part #M-8511-M50BR http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fms-m-8511-m50br this kit says it relocated the power steering pump for the factory location so this would displace the factory AC? I don't think this bracket also relocated the AC? Either way it looks like you would end up needing a pulley kit because you would end up needing to re locate your idler a bigger belt and a bracket like this one includes that is P.S. and AC on one bracket the kit it pricey but you get all the pulleys, mounting brackets, various hardware, idler, and tensioner! http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mc...view/make/ford and one hear of any other options their is always milling one out as the option? Awesome job Phansm by the way : ]
