so it seems that we figured out why we keep fouling out the plugs in ricks mustang. we just finished pulling the entire drivetrain including the rearend from the 84 gt, and put it in an 85 lx. the way we figured it is that the plugs are meant for fuel injection and not a carb'd setup. but when we tried to go one and even two heat ranges hotter on the plugs, the only things even available were almost a half inch to short. so not enough threads. what are all you gt40p heads and carb guys doing for spark plugs ?
