Default Engine mod or swap?

Hey guys I've got a 1967 mustang cp that I want to do a full restoration on. I'm a young guy so I don't know too much about the technical stuff.(plan to learn). Getting to the point now, my main concern is the engine. I want some good hp but still keep the car a daily driver. It currently has a 302 in it and can't decide whether to swap it or make some mods to it maybe stroke it out. Looking for around 350 hp. Tranny suggestions would help too. Suggestions welcomed thanks.

Well, this is what I did to my 70 Cougar a while back...
I had a brand new 302 block left over from a swap deal I did.
I got a 342 stroker kit and a set of AFR heads for much better flowing with a victor junior intake.
I never dynoed it but it felt like a 400hp mill for sure.

Note: The cool fact about the 342 is that you don't have to bore the block out .30 over like the 347, but you need a very clean block to do so.

Also, keep in mind that the original heads or even the GT40s are pretty much useless for power gains...
If you can afford it, go with AFR, Trick Flow or Edelbrock Victor Junior which all retail around $1500 or lower for a complete set.

Might be a bit testy. The engine has been sitting in the car for about 10 years. The car just wasn't driven due to needing new motor mounts. I had my eye on the 342 stroker kit as well and I'll probably end up going with the Edelbrock setup as well. Thanks for the Input I did some research on my own but thought I should hear it from some more experienced gear heads.
