Default engine/Information Conflict

I have a T-Code 65 Fastback that I have decided to put a 289 in. It now has a numbers matching I200 and C4 but I will be selling the car after complete rebuild. I have been told that the 289 is a better option than the I200

Problem: I purchased a engine with a 67 289 Tag and a connected C-4.

After I inspected the exterior of the engine, I found the block to be a d8ve-6015 a3a from a 1978 Lincoln 302.

All the other components are from a 67 289. After talking with a couple of builders, they say that the 67 289 manifolds, heads, etc are interchangeable.

At this point, I am not convinced and need confirmation. I tried parts lookup for manifold gaskets and the part numbers are different.

If someone has done this change I would like some feedback on fit/function and problems they encountered. I know that the bore is different by .005 but not sure that is significant regarding the heads. Also open to suggestions.
