I just picked up a 302 motor that I was told a 68 but now the engine is here, I find it's Block Code is D4DE 6015 BA or D4OE 6015 BA. From what I can find, it's a 1974 Falcon or Mavrick engine, I also found 7A18 witch would be 1977 Jan. 18. If I did that right. I want to rebuild the engine and had decided to go with Edelbrock parts. 2121 intake, 2122 Cam and Lifters, 7820 Timing chain and a 600cm Edelbrock Carb. I'm going to have the block checked and replace all the bearings. This is my first Engine Rebuild, what I'm asking is will the Edelbrock stuff work with this engine. I saw that different years had different high heads. I didn't see a 302 stamp in the head, just 6M23 on the left and 7A10 on the right. Any help would be great. Thanks Ted
