02 v6 to terminator swap questions.
Im thinking about maybe in the near future taking my 2002 V6 and swapping it out for a 03/04 Terminator setup. 4.6L SC etc. I know the price is high but I don't have the money to buy a new one or even to buy an 03/04 cobra . at least one in good shape. Wondering if a good idea or waste of money. Honest opinions please.

I think its more work and cash than its worth to be honest.
You can find a complete turn key cobra motor and transmission on ebay for approx $8,000.00 which includes:
Complete engine from oil pan to supercharger will all cables, hoses and wiring
accel cable
Radiator with fan
cruise control
steering column with key
Heat exchanger with bracket
Complete Transmission T 56 6 speed with wiring
Drive shaft
Fuel tank
FPDM
Ecu
inter cooler relay
intercooler tank
heat exchanger tank
coolant tank
Engine bay distribution wiring harness
body harness
dash harness
ecu harness
cluster reading correct mileage
I think thats everything you'd need minus engine mounts and kmember...plus your time. You still don't get the rear end. Does the V6 have the same suspension as a GT? If not, you'd need to beef that up as well.

Assuming you find a 'cheap' 03/04 Cobra motor and all the related junk you need, and assuming you're paying someone to do it (guys who know how usually don't post this question), you'll be $10,000 or more into the swap for 390 hp.
OR
If your V6 is in good shape, you can supercharge it and make the same power for a couple grand. Do some reading in the 94-04 V6 section.
Your choice.
