I swapped a 302 into my 98 mustang v6 car I got it running but after 10 seconds or it loses fire an dies I've tried a duraspark 2 system as well as my msd ignition system still does same thing help?

I have a 1998 v6 (3.8l) mustang that I got from a guy down the road from me for really cheap, there's nothing wrong with it. But I've always wanted to have more power so I thought maybe twin turbos but it isn't cheap plus i have a chance in blowing the motor. my dad has a 302 sitting around and he said I could have it, so I figured why not a v8 swap, if you have a welder and have some thick plates of steel I would THINK it is do able I know I'm at least going to try and see where I end out at but I do know your going to need tranny, rear, and depending on how you do a few things the fuel system and wiring would need to be changed.
