How much work and cost would it take to swap a 1995 Thunderbird 4.6 L, V-8 into a 1978 Mustang II currently powered by a 2.3 L, I-4 cylinder. Thank you in advance for any information you can give me. I have a 1978 Mustang II that I bought brand new.

It take a lot of work - and beer. With a little googling, you might be able to find help.

Find a mustang II oriented forum (mustangiiregistry.com) and ask there.

If it were me with that car, I'd do a stroked 408 Windsor or 347.
