1967 swap 289 to 351c 2v
Hey, I have a 351 cleveland 2v in my possession and the 289 I currently have had broken down already. When I tried to swap in the 351 cleveland with hooker headers 6913hkr there is a space issue on the sides and it looks like the original steering box might interfere as well. Is there any solution to my problems?

A couple of companies sell brackets that move the factory steering box. I know when I ordered my headers from fpa (ford power applications) they included the bracket with the headers for 35 bucks. Would think this would be a solution for you as well. I know dougs headers sell one too

It should clear.
They stuffed 428CJ in those cars and those mills are a lot wider than the 351C.
What kind of motor mounts are you using?
Also, I wouldn't mess with the steering box but get the correct headers instead.
Hedman makes the best routing headers for classic Fords and they run about $200 a set last time I checked...
