351 into 94 v6 car T5
I'm parting out my 95 F150 and want to put the 351W into my Mustang. I'm gonna do it dirt simple, so carb. I know I need a new oil pan and headers. I also realize long term the T5 (and axle) will be overcome, but for now it's going to be a less than stock motor (EFI makes more power than carb). What flywheel do I need to bolt these two together? If I'm doing no accessories and straight carb setup, I think I won't need much of anything.

I used to know all this schit but my memory fails me.
Call Ford Racing tech line and tell them exactly what you're doing, they'll answer all these questions for you...flywheel etc...
You better pamper that T5 as the torque of the 351 will shred it quickly if you give it the berries.

The 351W uses a 164 tooth flywheel while the 5.0 used a 157 tooth. The 94 and up 3.8 V6 had the 164 tooth flywheel so use the V6 Bellhousing and a 164 tooth 351W flywheel and the starter will line up. The Windsor and 3.8 V6 had the same belhousing bolt pattern so if your car is already a V6 5 speed you should be in great shape.
