Default Had a new Cobra in 1978

It was my first new car (black with orange decals). I can't say that Ford designed the car for the weight of the 302! The stock brakes were very poor as I was grinding rotor after only 18,000 miles. The suspension was too light weight too, as itplowed through corners due to all the weight in the front end with the 302. Consider what else was around back in those days of smog equipt choked engines, that little Mustang ran pretty well. I'm glad to see some of them are still around.
