Default Advice for single mom

My daughter has always wanted a Mustang. She is 22 and found this 1976 Cobra and thinks she can afford it. Any advice as to what to look for when we go look at? Decent price?
Thanks to all.

it looks clean, i'd offer the guy 2500 though but even at full price it seems like a good buy.

Don't look bad but pictures can lie and theres no interior shots.Have a good older mechanic give it a good once over or talk to your local mustang club maybe of them can look it over for you.

Thank you all for responding. As we women do she has changed her mind and now is considering a 1966 coupe with rebuilt engine and transmission for 4k. I have learned alot from these forums. Thanks again.

Hehe I was gonna say go with a 66 instead but looks like you got it figured out

See ya at classic mustang section

That was my advice for a single mom.

By the way being a single mom is okay too, I knew a kid who had two moms, it was kinda odd but he turned out okay...Still I think a single mom is the way to go...Well good luck ..uhh never mind my ramblings.

A 66 for that much should be driveable and a great body no rust or dents.I'm more of a fan of them older mustangs there a lot you can do to them to make them more your own.
