Hunting for a Transmission

Hey everyone, im trying to track down a Tranny for the 289 in the Mustang. Local junk yards are giving us nothing and we are EXTREMLY short on funding at the moment, but the car needs to be moved soon for a comming up car show that i want to enter it in.

I know i need a c-4, c-6, or a t-5. I just need help finding one at a not to heavy price.

If you lived closer to me I have an extra C4 and an extra T5 in the garage. I would recommend looking through your local craigslist.

To bad I can't just teleport to your house :P.

I've been checking phx craigslist about everyday with little results for a reliable tranny, and Ive got about ten people down there looking aswell, its driving us insane

finding a C4 shouldn't be too hard, finding a mustang II flexplate, torque converter, and bellhousing is much much harder. i *think* i have an extra torque converter and bellhousing, but i know i don't have another flexplate.
