Default 2.3L Turbo Trans Question

I have decided to go away from the V8 for my swap project. I found a pretty good deal on a motor from a turbo coupe, but I was unsure about the transmission.

I know that those cars came with a t-5 from the factory. Is the bolt pattern the same for my 4-speed (RAD) ? I thought that the block was basically the same, just different internals.

Should I just find a t-5 and do the complete swap?

if your rad 4 speed was bolted to a 2.3 then it should bolt up. with the turbo motor I would do the t5 swap depending on the rear gear you might not get it into 5th until 60-65. I swapped a t5 into my merkur and I cant go under 55 in 5th and it has 332 rear gear. and a 4cyl t5. my ll has a 351 windsor but I wanted to do a 2.3 turbo swap on one
