Default Farewell my friends!

Well....I'll be moving on over to the Corvette Forums. I've had a ton of fun over here and learned a butt load about the Classic Mustangs and the Mustang II's in particular. Had this guy stopped by the house last week and offered to trade me his 84 Corvette for my 78 Mustang II...it was a genuine tough decision, I didn't take it lightly, but after driving the Vette, it was just too exciting of an offer to pass up. Low mileage original 4 spd car that flat out flies, grumbles nicely and is in very good overall condition. As much as I loved my II, I've always wanted to own a Vette. So I made the trade. I know what you're probably thinking "An 84 Vette? WTF are you smoking?"....well it's still a Vette and there isn't any car payment associated with it....LOL!

I'll stop by from time to time to check in on everyone. There's a terrific bunch of Mustang enthusiast on this forum, didn't always agree with everyone but have always had a nothing but profound respect for all of you!

Godspeed....jam on!

Interesting comment. Not sure how to "read" that but I'll just say this "I'm a car guy"...Ford, Dodge, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, Plymouth, AMC...old and new, doesn't mean 5h1t to me. If I like it and I want it, I buy it. Haven't met any fags over on the Corvette forums but then again, I don't make it a habit to go around asking strangers what their sexual preferences are.....Do you do that? If so, maybe you're hanging out on the incorrect forum. You may want to look into some different options Brah!

BTW, the Vette rocks, much more fun to drive vs the 78 Mustang. But of course it's a totally different class of vehicle.

He's talking about the fact that *a high percentage* of corvette owners are doushebags and arrogant. But hey, if you can own one and not be like that, then awsome. Maybe when I'm a lot older I can have a "vintage" ZO6. LOL. Have fun with it, be safe.

<<knock on wood>> So far the CFI is running fine. PO took meticulous care of the car. But you're correct the CFI can be an absolute PITA when it's not well. I do have another intake/FI setup at the ready. I'm just trying to decide if I really want to molest an otherwise stock Vette. I didn't buy it to race or tear up the town. Bought it for a cruiser. So i'm leaning towards just leaving her as-is. If the engine had of been toast when I bought it, I would of already ordered the 383 stroker...LOL!

I was just poking fun at Barry...I knew what he meant...even if his comment came across as a bit smug...just decided to throw a turd back at him...I can't help it - it's the way I am!
