Default Looking For Photos or Help with a V6 171 2.8L

I have a 76' Mustang II. I've been restoring it for a couple months now and came a long way. Its a V6 171 2.8L. I was wondering if anyone has pics of their engine so I can compare. The Vacuum Ports, vacuum hose, and all that is so hard to figure out. Its screwing up the way it idels and it runs rough, not just because of that but I really need some photos of a V6 171 2.8l engine. THANKS.

There are not a lot of members with Mustang II's on here. Most sites I have been on only have a few 74-78 Mustang owners.

Usually people wait a few days before getting upset that no one responded to their thread.

I'm sorry I don't have the info you need, but you might try looking at some other Ford engin bays of the same years, like maybe a Maverick.

Yeah, Sorry for me saying all that. Its just that I thought if someone does have a mustang II, I figure they would atleast say something, or give me tips. I'll start over and just try to show off my project of my 76' Mustang II, which is coming along great, even though I had to replace everything, and spend over $2000 in parts and etc.

Post a picture of your engine bay and we can label the picture for you. Also list all the components you have that require vacuum. EGR and vacuum advance should be easy with a clear photo.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The shot you posted is not a high enough resolution to really see anything. Focus another shot on the engine itself. And pull the air cleaner so we can see the ports on your carb. Take one shot of the carb and one shot of the front of the engine.

I'm not familiar with the Smog equipment, sorry. But tell us, do you have power brakes? Automatic transmission? Power steering? Air conditioning? Etc, etc, etc?

Its manual brakes, Manual Trans, Power Steering, No A/C. And where the it says there should be a smog pump, there isnt. theres a Hose that would run into it, plugged up with a spark plug lol.
