Article says Ford will produce 9,000 Shelby's in 2007.

In my stable:
1972 Grande 302
1972 Convertible 351C
1992 GT Convertible
2001 GT Convertible (sold)

It's great that they're giving all this info and all, but they're skipping out on the most important detail-- PRICE!!

They're not gonna bother with giving price estimates because they know dealerships are looking for 200% markups on those things. The only ppl who are going to seriously venture to purchase a new GT500 are those for whom money is not an object. The rest of us "enthusiasts" are stuck in our V6's and GT's.

But in short, expect to see dealerships asking $70+ for the new Shelbys. You may even see some higher than 90[:@]
