And I understand your point completely S2K1. But the focus is on Ford's productions....since there are many, like myself, that don't want an aftermarket version of the mustang. Hell, I can buy a GT and do all the necessary bodywork and bolt-ons myself and end up with any of those aftermarket cars. So that, to me, just aggrevates the fact that there is nothing offered by Ford to be the middle child between the 300hp GT and 500hp GT500. I don't need to see new GT350's, Bullitts, Cali Specials, Twister editions, and whatever else. I just want Ford to put a 400hp NA mustang on the market......whatever they wanna call it. Sure, it would be sweet if they called it the Boss or Mach 1....but it really doesn't matter what the badge on the side says. Hell, call it the Rattlesnake.....I'd still take interest.[8D]
That's what I need to know. I understand wanting one in between a bolt-on GT and a GT500. Just seemed like everyone was going to only like one name or anouther and not buy it if it was a Boss vs. Mach 1 vs. whatever.

Well, there may well be some ppl like that out there. But if the 385-400 horsies are waiting under the hood, the styling is to my liking, and it isn't getting marked up into the 40's by dealerships......I'm there. Like I said, I'd love to see such a specialty mustang wearing a classic badge, but I won't hinge my pocketbook decision based on what that badge says..........assuming they don't call it the Flamingo or something, of course.

I think its great that Ford is keeping the stang's heritage alive with remakes of the special edition stangs. Plus, there are many different people out there who have different preferences on the power they want and the look they want. All these different options give us the choice, which I certainly think is a great thing.
