dude there is no way a 2003+ mustang would beat a LS1 F-body. dont be retarded. both decent drivers the f-body should win every time. but LT-1 would get spanked by a 2003+ mustang. and the LS2 f-body would absolutely waste a 2003+ mustang because its the same corvette engine and would beat a corvette if vettes werent so efficient at getting power to the ground. only 6% loss on vettes 20% loss for F-bodies from flywheel to ground

The manual gt s197 ? or a 2004 GTO manual ? cuz a guy bet 1090 $ and said if I won I would get them... my mods are a tune,4.10 and lower control arms and upper control arms So ?
Btw I asked here because Im not in the mood to going in s197 section and starting a new topic.. its really 4 or 5 clicks away.. lol

There were no 2003+ LS1's, etc, and he was asking what years are faster.
So 1994-2002 = LS1
And 2003-2007 = GT

I didn't see him state they made F-bodies after 2002, whic they didn't. But they sure as hell don't make an LS2 F-bod. Unless he's talking about the new Camaro coming in late 2008. Besides, there is talk of GM doing away with the LS2 in favor of the new 403hp 6.2l V8.

It doesn't matter what oldcars do. The only thing in a Chevy showroom that can spank anything is a Vette. Who has $60000+ to spend. I'd take 2 GT's than a Vette anyday. I had a 69 Vette a long time ago. Sure it was fast once I put in a 400hp motor. But when I went to do a brake job I crapped. $55 each half of a caliper. And that was 30 years ago. Who know what prices are now. Anyway my Mustangs have been far more reliable.
