My friends uncle recently bought a new 2007 Shelby GT500.About two weeks after purchasing hereceived a phone call from Carroll Shelby telling him about the car. He informed him that his car was equipped with the KR package available for the 08s but he told him his car wouldn't have any of the KR badging. Has anyone else heard about this??? Maybe a test mule of some kind???

I wish I could afford a Shelby to begin with and, if I could I wouldnt be as lucky as that, to have an added bonus.

Last I heard they werent even going to start selling them til spring 08. It is not very common to lose a test mule, so I am gonna have to say your friend is mistaken. Someone is playing a joke. Would Carrol Shelby actually call anyone about a screw up that big, no.

most test mules get crushed or stripped after there times up so i dont know about this

I am a Roush Mustang dealer myself, but I never heard of a Mustang with the "King of the Road" package that didnt have the emblem on it. It may as well have been a mule. We have a KR edition coming in pretty soon, there were only 500 of them made this year, Ill check it out real well and update you to see if this one has the badging or not.
