I was planning on purchasing a 2008 GT premium this Spring. I was looking to see if there were any changes coming down the pike. I have read several posts that say HP will be increased to 350 for '09 and a slight mod to the front end. With that being said, I really like the retro of the current stang. Does anybody know how soon they will reveal the next body style and specs? I would hate to wait until the last minute and have them completely redo the current design and be stuck.

i saw a concept of the 09 in a magazine, idk the specs of the car but the photo they had still had the retro look to it, the car tho had more rounded edges

The new 09 just features more sport like the GT500 look does, more functional heat removal hood, and some better aero front body, I havn't heard what they're doing to counter the new Z28 Camaro LS equipped power house, but I doubt it'd be hard to wait, I mean just wait til it comes out if not your thing you should get a price reduction on your 08 if it's at all that bad, and that means more mods...

Though I'ma be pissed if they don't front the 5.4 option I've been hearing about as well as the 5.0 coming back, 302 or 331 I wanna know what's going on with the modular engine of the new GT Premiums...

I know the Z28 has options ranging from dinky V6 to Huge V8 LS-7's sporting 400hp without forced induction, so I believe Ford will counter with similair options, though we all know the Camaro will not handle curves like a pony...
