2008 Mustang Bullitt Edition
Hi all,
I found one of these locally and really liked it so decided I was going to upgrade from my '07 GT.
MSRP was 34,810 so I figure hell, I always negotiate well and get great deals so I should be able to get it for 30 even.
Surprise, Surprise!!
Not only would they not negotiate they wanted a " market value adjustment" of 5 grand so 39,810 total.
Yea, kiss my *** and call me after it's been sitting there 6 months LOL.
It was a bad *** car though, hard to believe the extra 15 HP and 5 TQ can make that much difference but it was DAMN faster than my '07 GT.
Of course, the manual with 3.73's as opposed to my auto with 3.31's probably made a big difference as well.
Oh well, maybe another time.
Have fun folks,
Lance

RE: 2008 Mustang Bullitt Edition
My 8 yr. old son and I just stopped by a Phoenix Ford dealer that had a Black Bullitt sitting out front. I had them start the car up, and I must say it sounded really nice. Much deeper than a stock GT, and I liked the sound better than my 06 w/ Bassani catback on it. I also really liked the look of the car, very subtle, although I like the stance of the Shelby GT a little better.
I am going back later this week to drive it, I am seriously thinking about getting this (I don't have my 06 vert anymore).

RE: 2008 Mustang Bullitt Edition
Hi. I'm a n00b to these forums, but I figured I'd give you a heads up when I read this thread. I've been debating on whether to lease a new Mustang and I came across a Bullitt in Cincinnati yesterday. You were mentioning the dealer mark-up. Interestingly enough, this dealership was willing to sell it to me at X-plan (100 over invoice making it $29,400). I didn't buy it since this is not going to be my daily driver and I don't want to go in that deep. I think I'm going to find a Cobra 98-2001 that I can buy in the 10 or 11K dollar range. Anyway, if you guys are serious about buying a Bullitt you ought to give those guys a call. I don't have a link, but it's Kerry Ford in Springdale,OH (tri-county Cincinnati area). Hopefully I'll be back soon with pics of my Cobra.
