i heard that ford extended the shelby contract, i'm 100% sure for 2009 but that could obviously carry over to the new body style. i actually hope it doesn't. maybe without the shelby nameplate the new cobras will be more affordable.

I hope it doesn't either. I think alot of us were really excited back when we first learned that the GT500 badge was gonna return. But that excitement lasted all of 20 seconds when we realized what the Shelby name was gonna do to asking prices. I feel very strongly that if the Shelby name had been kept offppl wouldbe getting 07 "Cobras" for 36-39K right about now.
