Need Help Taking Old Stripes Off

hi i am new to the forum and was wondering if anyone can tell me how to take the old stripes off the stang. i am having trouble with it because they are cracked all over and i can see thru the paint. i'm not sure if the blow dryer would help. thanks!

blow dryer, warm day, and carefully slide something under the tip of the stripe and peel

would the blowdryer also melt the paint?

no, it only loosens the vinyl glue

Any left over glue residue can be taken care off with goo gone...I swear by this thing...

you know it's pretty interesting when i peeled the stripes off, it's sticky but i also bought some new stripes and the direction says to wet it with soapy water. is that the stuff that causes it to stick after a while?
