Yeah this has been floating around for a while. Where did you get 415 stock horse power? I thought the general consensus was 340 stock. It has a lot of potential yes, but from the factory it is supposed to offer better gas mileage for a performance engine.

Anyhow, yeah its cool. Offer it along side a v8 and the Mustang will be a power house. Would I get one? Maybe in a Tarus SHO or something. Depends what the exhaust sounds like. I'd rather get a v8 for my stang.

I honestly don't think they are going to do that for the 2010 model.. but it might have been something they were testing and considering. The idea has been floating around for awhile now though. I also doubt they would do a twin turbo setup on it.. likely just 1 turbo.

I'd miss the V8 sound.. but a turbo'd v6 for the GT and then a s/c or turbo'd V8 model for the cobra would be sweet.

^ the door graphic is interesting on your car man....it's just like the shape of the new door lines on the 2010 Mustang....and the door handle fitting in nicely with it....

anyways...if they did an EcoBoost V6 it'd be pushing 340HP in all likelyhood...with the V8 getting 400HP

you might prefer V8's...but wait until the day the EcoBoost V6 pulls up next to you and you have your azz handed to you by it....

that being said....I would never buy a V6 again...I realize it was a mistake....

I still stand by the idea they should do a small displacement v8. Something like 3.8L or less, and TT that. You'd get the good fuel econemy that you get with a 6, and the power you'd get from the ecoboost TT 6, but it would keep the purists happy about having a v8 'stang.

We already spoke in '74, that even in the face of a gas crisis and skyrocketing fuel prices, the mustang has to have a v8 option.

Well if they made a TT GT then I would be forced to buy it. As far as turbos on a mustang I don't like the idea. I have always seen Turbos as a foreign way of making a car faster and superchargers as the american way of doing it. I would just hate to see our american muscle start using turbos

You don't like the idea of a turbo mustang but you'd be forced to buy a Twin Turbo GT?
