I havent seen it mentioned here yet but i got a call from a friend about a saleen out of buissness auction(he saw it on a roush newsletter). I started searching the net and the news is spreading on all the other ford forums ,just wondring if anybody has an offical scoop on this? looks like there selling off everthing,I had plans for a breenspeed stage 3 saleen sc but who knows how long that will be around now?

well i know steve sold the company about 3 years ago. i heard saleen(company) was just consolidating.

Steve Saleen has a new company called SMS. dont think he's doing any mustangs but i heard Camaro's and Challengers

Correct, they are simply consolidating. Saleen left the company to start a new project.

One of the reasons he left was he had ideas he wanted to try that were not Ford related and the S7 was dropped after last year or the year before because emissions standards were getting too hard to get past.

They must really be consolidating,I saw they were selling off everything from parts,shop tools and equipment,right down to the office furniture.

Pretty sure they are just moving locations. I was able to track down the sight where they were auctioning of everything and bought 210 Saleen Ford Focus Shifter ***** for $115 and got 900+ Saleen Ford Focus clutch and pedal sets for $200. My buddy got 2 sets of Parnelli Jones wheels for $1500. We are picking them up in irvine today. haha
