Default 2010 Mustang Interior Revealed

Well photos are really pouring in now. A day after we got photo's of both the GT and GT500 without body camo, we now have great photos of the interior. I think it looks great.

eh...not a fan. looks too much like they're going for luxury car styling. just doesn't seem to fit my idea of what a mustang should look like on the inside quite right.

Haha jealous some? It looks like the current S197 interior just nicer.....how could you not want it to be more luxurious. Bring on the hard plastics ftw!

No thanks! Vents look bad, new radio is going to make putting an after markit radio in either very very hard or not all and loss a lot of good powerful lines in the dash.

I think from what i've seen they are going for a more refined overall design while at the same time attempting to make the exterior more compact&edgy appearing. I liked the new rear design not to crazy about the front but maybe it will look better finished&in person?

Aftermarket stereo manufactureres will always make options available for new cars. It's what keeps their business alive. Anways, I'm not a fan of the mixed vents (round and rectangle) they should've stuck with one or the other. I'm partial to the round ones because they flow with the guage cluster (round).

Also looks like they dumped one of the multi-function sticks behind the steering wheel (windshield wipers) and moved it under the headlight controls on the drivers side. Not a fan of that either. If you have your wheel height and seat adjusted properly you can't see that corner of the dash.

I like it overall. I like the guages hoods are angled with the dash and not so far back deep. The vents are ok but I think I like the round easy close ones we have now. The flat console looks nice. Like the defrost vents beside the side mirrors. Looks like a couple of buttons to the upper left of the gear shift. Do you think that's ambient lighting controls? I don't see any more controls on the steering wheel. I'm assuming the different stereo is beefed up. BIGGEST IMPROVEMENT might be the sirius antenna at the front of the dash. See it?

I'd like to see the navigation system in one. Will it have the voice activated SYNC?

I like the interior revision. The air vents are very camaro like. I think the air vents on the outside should be the same shape as the middle ones. Overall, great job!

It definitely will if you are comparing two cars who's base models have a 15k difference. You are looking at the interior of a 21k car.....

What do you think? Good spot for the antenna? Some will probably say "I don't want that thing on my dash". Me, I think it's better than on the exterior. Plus, it's close to the in dash unit.
