i'll stick with my 2000 GT cause i'm busy raping 05+ mustangs all day...
but... i just may buy the 2010 but ONLY if they offer it with over 400hp
or else i'll just buy a GTO and have a GTO next to the mustang in the garage...

yea, me preferring mustangs more, it does kind of annoy me. but ive seen somewhere on here before and i thought it was pretty true: the ss isn't supposed to match up w/ a GT its supposed to match up w/ a cobra or gt500 in 2010. gt matches up closer to the f-body v6.
this is of course assuming the camaros leaked prices are bull*ish. If you think about it that way its different. although it wont ever be completely like that though cause v6 does not = v8

You're point is purely opinionated. The times release by GM are reflecting low 13's. The price has not been officially released. It seems most people on various forums want the SS to start at 30k, but that doesnt mean it will. BTW, if it does start at 30, then goodbye GT hello SS! Consider this, the 400 hp GTO's dont hit 12's at all in stock form, so how the hell will a heavier 200 pound 400 hp camero hit upper 12's??? If you are tired of the camaro out powering the stangs, go get a GT500 & you will realize, its actually going to be the other way around.
i thought the GTO was pretty similar in weight, and its wasnt the weight that kept it back, it was its suspension. fab up a 4 link to a GTO (which ive seen done) and they run pretty damn good. the camaro will have the LQ9 or ls3 depending on tranny, both making 422hp. the only thing im worried about is the 4.5link independent suspension they are talking about on their site......... the car better hook, thats all im sayin
