The '08 may be more comfortable and have more horses but that '68 is a magnificent piece of history. It's been turning heads for 40 years and will do so long after the '08's curves are no longer considered trendy and modern. I'd take the original any day of the week.

But, for a DD....the 'practicality' of the '08 wins outright.
Agreed.

On that logic, the 08 is limited also. In 1968, I'm guessing anybody could have bought the 68 one too.

I'm not dissing your choice at all, but just saying they are both limited editions.

Since putting the 08 drivetrain under the sexy oldschool body is not one of the options, I would have to go with the 08KR.

Another vote goes to '08. I like vintage cars but I guess they are quite fragile already.

I would take the 08 because I want to be comfortable while I smoke these stupid a** ricers around here. I honestly hate civic drivers.

The '68!
Add some better suspension, EFI, two more gears, brakes and twin turbos!

BTW: I am currently working on my own "Improved" '69 Sportroof with a '68 427 and twin turbos.
And my '97 Saleen 4-Valve 4.6 with the Vortech Supercharger, is quite a bit of FUN to drive with 10 pounds of boost!
