I have a 2008 Bullitt and I love it. Im not sold on the new GT yet. I don't know, something about it doesnt say mustang to me. I mean, its not that much different than mine, smoother I guess. I always thought of the mustang as a rough car that was built for pure power. The 2010 design seems TOO smooth to me, more like an import than a muscle car.

2010 version is to much of a change for me, I think Ford did right by the 05-09 S197's , its awesome retro styling and for me its the new classic mustang, with many mods I can add to my GT its not worth the extra $$ to invest, I am sticking with my 07.

The front and rear look bad on the '10 IMO. The arch on the rear quarters is nice.
IMO the best looking mustang ever is the 08/09 GT500KR. It's the perfect blend in new/old cool. Give me that body with 350 horse and call it the 2010 Mustang Gt and I would have been happy!

I was faced with exactly this scenario recently! The 03 Mach 1 was paid for, my wife has an 07 V6 Pony Package Mustang that she won in a sweepstakes, so there were no car payments, and I was getting used to that! I eventually decided against trading the Mach 1 in on a new model, and instead, put the money I would have spent on a new car into the Mach 1 to make it the dream car that I always wanted, and I've not looked back! Best decision I ever made regarding automobiles.

You know I thought of that but since you quoted me on this forum....I have big plans for the v6 itself. First cheaper insurance for a DD. Second and more importantly......I have plans to go TT with the v6 and I am sure it would keep up with the stock v-8. Remember this is a DD and the GT I have now will be the star of the show while the style and extra HP from the v6 TT 2010 stang will do just fine for my other car needs as a DD.

keepin my 08 until if/when ford makes a stock gt 400/400. which hopefully will be in 2011. i have had 3 s197's in the last 30 months. im done trading for a little while. lol
MAYBE
would trade here soon for a 2010 but i still havent gotten used to the new rear end. but with 400 hp under the hood i can stand the new rear. lol
