Mustang News, Concepts, Rumors & Discussion Did you see that Mustang?! Have you heard Ford's next move? Come inside.

What a disappointment-- I'm sticking with my 06 GT.

As long as oil stays around 50$/barrel, the average consumer looking for an american sports car is going to go with the mustang. ford is looking to outsell the competition, not out-horsepower it.

The 6.2 ls3 and l99 get better mpg than the 4.6 3v. So I wouldn't use gas prices or better mpg as a selling point for the mustang.

The plastic around the bottom rear and sides is enough to make me keep my 06. It's a mustang not a bumper car.

That's right. 5 years to make this car produce 315hp versus 300 in 05. I don't know if Ford is realizing that we are now having difficulties beating family sedans such as G35 that is not even supposed to be fast. Whatever it is, I'm sticking with my 06 GT that I'm so in love with because 2010 just sounds like a big fat joke. It's probably gonna be 200lbs heavier too.
DID YOU NOT SEE THAT THERE WAS ALREADY A THREAD STARTED WITH THIS TOPIC?!? WHY DID YOU START ANOTHER ONE! HOPELESS CLUSTERFUKING THE SECTION WITH THE SAME TOPIC IS NOT NEEDED.

Ya know what?
Just knowing the names of those engines (not to mention knowing what kind of MPG they MIGHT give) makes me wonder if you really should be owning a Ford!

I have no idea what a LS3 or L99 is and I don't give a frag! I'm not in the market for anything by GM. Never was and probably never will be. Yes, it's called loyalty.
I appreciate the Mustang as still being the best value in muscle cars. And no fictional Camaro that still doesn't exist is going to change MY mind.
