Default so i have a diablo sport tuner but i have a question

ok so i have a 2002 gt with a off road x-pip but i will be putting the stock midpipes back in(sounds like crap) but if i have to save the original tune does it matter if i have the cats on or not considering im going back to stock

it shouldnt because on my car it just blocks the codes from the rear 02 sensors but yours may be different.
