In the article, it says they added a cold air intake, but I know that doesn't explain the 40 hp jump. They claim that's why they moved the Cobra badge on the grill, so that more air could come in on the intake side. Not sure that would really make a noticeable difference. Maybe they increased the boost on the supercharger.

How did the GT500KR attain it's 540 horses? Maybe they did the same thing.

Yea, they've basicly taken the current KR's setup and translated it into the standard for the upcoming GT500's. So whatever they did for the KR, that's what this new Shelby has also (from what I've read, anyways). I'm just curious if potential 2010 Shelby buyers are gonna be paying more for this added performance bump. I'd hope not.

I'm more interested in how much better this car will handle compared to the current model, than I am the HP bump. Achieving a 40hp bump in those cars is retardedly simple (yea, a better intake and a good tune would easily do it).

Sharp looking car. But I'm in the minority here.......I'm not feeling the grabber blue as of yet. Now if we were talking about a new Boss with all the nice blackout trimming, then hell yea.

I don't think they correct times at the 1320 for that......

That was my thoughts honestly, they could of done more but it will be interesting to see what all they've changed for the better.

Its the best looking 2010 that I've seen for sure. I still don't really care for the new bodystyle though. I'm diggin that Grabber Blue, I wouldn't buy it for myself, but its pretty cool.

I knew the projectors would look awesome on the GT500 front end.
