Default Some news for 2011

So I came across these articles today. Not trying to spread rumors but these looked pretty legit. I'm gonna have to stop looking at the Camaro so much now if these are true.

Man, I really wanted to get the 2010 come spring or summer. Now I'm wondering if I should wait? I would like either either the 355hp turbo V6 or the 400hp 5L. I'm just wondering how much they are going to bump up the price, being it has already gotten a little too expensive.
I guess another idea is to wait until next fall and get a 2010 at a big discount with the new engines coming in. I mean for me, I'm sure 315hp will be fine coming from a 175hp car. Then you can always get a few bolt-ons later and bump it up 30-40hp I would think. I'm also wondering if you can still get the a-plan price on top of any discounts?

Its about time they took something from the public and made it a reality. I wouldnt mind seeing that Shelby packing a 6.2 like what is in the Raptor Truck either. Slap a blower on there and the ZR1 would be nothing but a dream

I figured this would make some people happy. Funny thing is I found the articles on a Camaro forum and they were getting a little scared. If all this is true then GM's gonna have to bring back the Z/28, but oh wait... they have no money to make it.

really makes me want to stop with mods before i start heavy modding on the 07 SGT. i wonder maybe perhaps the 6spd will be in 2011 as well? got a feeling a lot of 2010 buyers are gonna regret it

LOL!
That wouldn't go over so well... using the government's money to make a Z/28 buahaha.

Too bad we still have GT500, GT500 Supersnake, etc. I hate how no one even acknowledges the GT500 as part of the mustang line up.

****ING EPIC

the good thing about this also, is that the mustang is probably still going to be around 3600-3700 pounds, and have a robust drivetrain like it does now.

which basically means if it does come out with a 400 HP 5.0, then it'll probably be the musclecar winner for a while, its outselling everything else with a meek engine, so if it got a strong motor, it'd probably be unbeatable. the chassis is already there.

it's about effin time Ford!!! i love ford and only ford, but i was pissed when i read that the 2010 was only going to have 15 more HP than previous s197's.

dont get me wrong, i cant wait for some kid to try me in a 2010 thinking it's stock and find out otherwise. but i was really expecting big #'s from the 2010.

Well I have already started down the path with my 07 so no upgrading for me.

I hate to be a pessimist but with the economy the way it is and the instability in gas prices I just cant see it being a viable thing. Sure gear heads like us would be dancing in the street but we arent a large enough group to make it worth while. Not when the GT-500 is around.

Now if the 5.0 is already 100% designed a ready and is an easy thing to tool up to make it might have a chance, but I doubt it.

I do hope I am wrong though, just trying to be realistic.

I do believe the turbo 6 will happen and will most likely replace the V8, and a turbo 4 will go in the base model. GT-500 will stay a V8 but might go down in cubes.

A Mustang with no V8 will bring the end of the Mustang until the "Baby Boomers" are gone IMO.
The sixxer sells well but there are plenty of equivalents.
Turbo on a V6 or a 4cyl... how much the price tag be? If you can't keep the base model at $20K or bellow, it won't sell.
Mom won't buy it, nor the V8 guys.

I could be wrong but we'll see...
