800hp Gt 500 SS unveiled last night

I still don't understand what is done to the GT500 that justifies the 100K workticket price. I'm pretty sure I could put a Shelby weeeellllll past 800hp with less than 10K invested. I'm just not impressed. I mean, I wasn't impressed with the new CJ when it was first unveiled....but having learned more about it the CJ is a MUCH better deal. This is like a blinged out dragracing GT500............guess I just don't get it. Offer the package for 30K or less and maybe I could see the point. But 100K?....GTFO.

all hype, and for anyone to be that stupid to pay 100k + dealer markup, let them go ahead.
In no way is this vehicle able to handle like others in that price range class. This is more of a track car, ONE HELL OF AN EXPENSIVE ONE.
What pisses me off, is to see the Modular Guys hit hard at the dealer, then the aftermarket tears you a new one.
Profits are like HUGE, per product for Modular and its sad to see you guys have to bend over and take it

For the price tag of the High-end Shelby Mustangs (KR, this new 'SS') I would buy a used Lamborghini Gallardo... Mustang has a heritage for being a reasonably priced Muscle car that the average Joe can usually afford. Not a $100K++ car. Anything over $100K I'd be going 100% exotic. I've seen some 2004 Ferrari's go on ebay for $80K. You could go buy three used cars for the price of one of those lol... Z06, a Lotus Elise, and a Shelby GT500.
Sorry for rambling on about better ways I would spend my money. :P
