I enjoy the fact that both my cars are paid off. I think none of the cars coming out right now are worth getting a new car payment.IMO Next month I will be taking a year long vaction and will see what the economy has to offer when I come back.

Anyone have some pics of the production 2010 GT interior so we can compare them to the SS interior shots on the last page? And I'm not talking about press release photos.

wow the interior of the camaro looks so cheap and ugly, just like the old ones always looked cheap.

The seats are nice, but aside from that no bueno.

lol, i'm with you! I think we think about this question hypothetically but in reality even someone gave me one or the other i would rather trade it in and get something better like an 07 escalade or an 06 z06. The new designs from car manufacturers are getting uglier and uglier and i never thought i'd say it but imo, dodge is making the most attractive cars on ratio than the other manufacturers. I like their charger, challenger, and their 300. I'm not a big fan of anything chevy makes now except the vette and ford lost me with the new 2010 design of their mustang.

No offense but thats a stupid argument. It has taken 10 years to barly compete against the LS1. 2000 LS1 would be even if not a tad bit better than the new 2010 mustang in the 1/4. Age has nothing to do with it.

Had been looking into getting either an 09 Mustang GT premium ( I like the exterior better than the 2010) or the new camaro ss. I like the exterior of both vehicles. I liked the interior of the Mustang much better ( based on online research for the camaro). Like I said I liked both cars but the Mustang just did it for me. I love the ride and the sound of the engine. I'm sure the ss will be just as exciting a drive. I am fully awary the ss can do 0-60 in 4.6 and the GT (stock) can only do it in about 5.2. I hardly concider that blowing the doors off maybe I'm missing something I make no claim to be a mechanical wizard. I'm in my mid 30's and have no plans on drag racing at every street light or bringing my car to the track. I got the vehicle cause its fun to drive, has more than enough power, and gave me the most bang for the buck. I think the future owners of both Mustangs and Camaros will be extremely happy. I know I am!

Being a ragtop man this was a really easy thing for me, especially since I like the 2005-2009 body incredibly more than the new one. But it came down to these requirements

Need ragtop
Need 5 or 6 speed stick
Need 4 seats
Need Rear wheel drive
Less than 40k.

If you aren't even looking at the cars, this really limits your selection, I think you're down to one. The fact that the Mustang looks and performs as well as it does is all bonus stuff. If I never had to deal with a dealer in purchasing or service, it would be perfect, anyway NOTHING comes close.

I've got a couple of the GT500 () and one or two of a cloth V6 (). Lemme upload them. They're not the best shots but they're decent enough.

Interior of the GT500:

V6:

Both of them felt and looked MUCH better than the 05-09s, made me a fan. I still don't like the rear end all that much but it does look better in person.

I love the way when it comes to the article they compare the prices of a V6 Mustang to a V6 Camaro, but when it comes to performance they compare the V8 Mustang and V6 Camaro....real fair.
