Got word of new SUperduty's
Though our FORD rep.... new 6.2 Liter diesel for the Superdutys. Supposed to be around the same release date as the GT500. I just hope its not like the 6.0. Cause they are turning out to be pieces of junk. Also new engine in the F-150's. 4.5? I think the up comming Ford vehicles will be different... to say the least. Maybe even a new SVT.. to replace the Focus and Contour. Im not saying anytihng just yet about that though.

which are both smaller then the 7.3 and they put out more power....bigger does not always mean better and yeah the sport trac with have the 4.6 sc v8 with 390 hp and awd if im not mistaken....

I have a 04 6.0 and a 99 7.3 both 550s and the 6.0 is soooooooo much better of a truck its sickening that 6 liter will spank my 7.3 and the 7.3 has piggy back chips and a full 3" exhaust down pipe back. The only problem Ive had with the 6.0 is the tranny went like all of them. I love superdutys and would fathom the thought of buying something other than ford Ive had five of them since I started driving in 92

oh ok...but remember size doesnt mean that much anymore...expain the honda s2000 engine at 2.0l putting out 240 hp....with engines...its not the size of the boat its the motion of the ocean....4.6 < 5.0 displacement wise 4.6>5.0 hp wise....

Thanks for taking care of business Kandy. And The 7.3 is a MUCH better engine than the 6.0 could ever be, or ever wanna be. The 6.0 diesel right now is comming up apon 100,000 miles for alot of people and EVERYTHING internally and externally is breaking. Also just within the last week 2 new recalls for it. Its out of control. I guess Fords first attempt at a Diesel was a sad one. lol. i still think the 7.3 and all the diesel techs, and most construction companys we deal with think the same way. But yeah i agree the power of the 6.0 is pretty nice.
