Anyone see the new 2010 Fusion? 41MPG City... The only weird thing is that it gets 36 highway.
I've always laughed at how un-practical the SMART Car is (only getting 39MPG), now some guy in a Fusion is going to get better MPG then them.

I haven't seen how the Fusion gets it's hybrid status but if it's like a lot of other cars the batteries are charged of the brakes so stop and go traffic can actually recharge your batteries allowing you to travel farther in the city then highway.

reason why the MPG dips on the highway is because they are on the gas motor alone. The electric part shuts down after 47 MPH....switches to small gas motor.....still sweet!

thats kick a$$ lol. people are getting very smart when it comes to in town driving. when will we see a car get 100mpg on the highway?
