MUSTANG WINS! - Car and Driver front page!

^^^ +1, i'd probably do the same thing . after 45 years of production, i'd like to think that the mustang has been on top for quite some time; i just think a lot of the magazines (mainly motor trend), are just afraid to admit it
on a side note, this months motor trend compared the new ford f150 and the toyota tundra. the tundra outperformed the f150 practically in every way, however, they picked the f150 as the winner mainly because of the options available, particularly what chevy (i.e. howie) has deemed as ford's man-step (most of these options, including a similar tailgate step, are available on the tundra as well).
so, why they picked the f150 based on available options, most of which are available on the tundra as well, even though the tundra out performed the f150, i don't know...

At least Motor Trend also had the article on the GT500 in that same issue and made the acknowledgment that the GT500 was "King of the Hill" for muscle cars. ....but then again, partly because GM and Chrysler didn't have anything to compete with it.

oh, on another side note, i finished going through the motor trend i mentioned earlier (the f150 v. tundra one), and later in the same issue, they had a long-term test verdict for the '07 tundra. in short, they kept going on about how superior it was to all the other trucks and that these trucks are the best and are wrapped in awesomeness.... yet earlier in the mag, they said it isn't the best o_O

Yeah, I remember when one of the car mags compared a Vette, Viper, and GT500. The Vette and Viper models both cost significantly more than the Mustang did, so it was a bit odd comparison.

The Vette and Viper only seat two. The seats in the back of Mustangs are small but you can haul 4 if you need to.
